WEST · Guided Learning Voyage

The honest diagnosis

Learning doesn't fail because you stop caring.

It fades because it never becomes part of your life.

Think about the last thing you genuinely wanted to learn.

Perhaps it was AI

Maybe writing.

Finally peaking confidently in public.

or Reading a new book

You probably started well.

You found great resources.

Saved articles.

Bought a course.

Watched videos.

Then work got busy.

Life happened.

Learning became "something I'll come back to."

That experience is remarkably common.

Most adult learning begins with enthusiasm but very little structure. We know what we want to learn, but rarely have a repeatable way to decide:

-why it matters

-where to begin

- what to focus on,

- or how to stay accountable.

Nothing Changes

Until learning has a map.

That's exactly the gap a Learning Charter is designed to fill.

MEASURE

How will I measure progress and reflect on what I've learned?

Each card explains one step.

By the end of the workshop, these six pieces come together into one practical document you can revisit long after the session is over.

It's not another worksheet. It's a system you can reuse every time you choose to learn something new.

Your Workshop Journey

Three hours. One learning goal. A framework you'll use again and again.

 # 01 See  Clearly

We begin by reflecting on how we currently learn.

You'll explore what has helped, where momentum usually breaks down, and why learning as adults often feels harder than it should.

Rather than focusing on productivity, we'll focus on awareness.

# 02 Learn What WOrks

Next, we'll unpack a few simple ideas from learning science that make learning more effective.

You'll understand why some habits feel productive but don't create lasting change, and discover approaches that make learning easier to sustain in everyday life.

No jargon.

No information overload.

Just practical ideas you can immediately apply.

# 03 Build Your  Charter

This is where everything comes together.

Through guided exercises, reflection and discussion, you'll build your own Learning Charter around one meaningful goal.

By the end of the workshop you'll know:

• Why this goal matters

• What you're learning

• Who will support you

• How you'll learn

• What you'll do first

• How you'll measure progress

You'll leave with a finished charter, not homework.

What You'll Leave With

More than inspiration.

You'll leave with practical tools you can start using immediately.

The honest diagnosis

This workshop is for you if...

You've started courses you never finished

Work demands constant learning

You want to learn AI

You're changing careers

You're overwhelmed by information

You want a repeatable learning system

Your Facilitator

Srishti Sehgal

Designing learning experiences that fit real life.

Srishti runs Field, a learning design practice where she partners with organisations and individuals to rethink how they learn. To rethink how learning actually happens in real teams, with real constraints, inside real working lives.

Over the years she noticed a familiar pattern.

People weren't struggling because they lacked curiosity or motivation.

They struggled because nobody had shown them how to design their own learning.

That insight became the foundation for the Learning Charter, a practical framework that helps adults approach learning with clarity, structure and purpose.

Today, Srishti facilitates workshops that combine thoughtful reflection, learning science and hands-on practice to help people build learning habits that last beyond the classroom.

Most learning today is broken. She also thinks it's very fixable.

Questions

Frequently Asked

"Learning is one of the most innately human things we do. Yet somewhere along the way, most of us stopped thinking of ourselves as learners. That contradiction is what I find endlessly interesting."

Sometimes you need an external force to get you started. This session was that for me.

Learning had always been my personal, private world. This session made me realise it doesn't have to be.

I walked away being more deliberate about my learning rather than just letting it happen

It becomes meaningful when you know how to keep learning.
