Build Your Learning Charter

Design your learning journey: one meaningful goal at a time.

learningCharter.JPG

You probably already know something you'd like to learn.

This workshop helps you turn that idea into a simple plan you can actually follow.

3 Hours

Live Talk · Q&A

THE FAMILIAR PROBLEM

You've probably tried to learn something before.

Maybe you signed up for a course.

Saved a few articles.

Watched some videos.

And then work got busy.

Life happened.

The learning got pushed aside.

It doesn't always mean you weren't serious about it.

Sometimes, you just didn't have a clear way to approach it.

THE LEARNING CHARTER

Start with one thing you really want to learn.

A Learning Charter helps you think through one learning goal from start to finish.

Why does it matter?

What exactly do you want to learn?

Who can help?

How will you learn it?

What will you do first?

And how will you know you're making progress?

During the workshop, you'll work through these questions and build your own Charter.

YOUR LEARNING CHARTER

Six simple questions. One clear plan.

COMPASS → NORTH STAR → CREW → PATH → FIRST STEP → LOOK BACK

PATH

FIRST STEP

What actions will I begin with?

LOOK BACK

How will I measure progress and reflect on what I've learned?

By the end of the workshop, these six pieces come together as your own completed Learning Charter.

Your Workshop Journey

Three hours. One learning goal. Your own Learning Charter.

 # 01 Bring your goal

Start with something you genuinely want to learn.

It could be a new skill, a new role, or something you've been curious about for a while.

# 02 Work through the six questions

We'll reflect, discuss and work through the six parts of the Learning Charter.

You'll have time to think about your own goal and test your ideas with others.

# 03 Build Your  Charter

Bring everything together into one clear plan.

You'll leave with your own completed Learning Charter and a practical next step.

What You'll Leave With

Something you can actually use.

You'll leave with practical tools you can start using immediately.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have:

  • A completed Learning Charter for one real learning goal

  • Greater clarity on why you're learning it

  • A practical path you can begin immediately

  • A simple way to stay accountable and measure your progress

That's it.

No pile of worksheets to finish later.

You'll build your Charter during the session.

IS THIS YOU?

You don't need to be "good at learning."

This workshop might be useful if:

You've been meaning to learn something but haven't got started.

You've started courses before and not finished them.

Your work keeps asking you to learn new things.

You're stepping into a new role.

You're thinking about a career change.

You want to learn AI, writing, communication, leadership, or something completely different.

Or there's simply something you've wanted to learn for a while.

You don't need to have it all figured out.

Bring the thing you're curious about.

We'll work from there.

Your Facilitator

Srishti Sehgal

Designing learning experiences that fit real life.

Srishti runs Field, a learning design practice where she partners with organisations and individuals to rethink how they learn. To rethink how learning actually happens in real teams, with real constraints, inside real working lives.

Over the years she noticed a familiar pattern.

People weren't struggling because they lacked curiosity or motivation.

They struggled because nobody had shown them how to design their own learning.

That insight became the foundation for the Learning Charter, a practical framework that helps adults approach learning with clarity, structure and purpose.

Today, Srishti facilitates workshops that combine thoughtful reflection, learning science and hands-on practice to help people build learning habits that last beyond the classroom.

Most learning today is broken. She also thinks it's very fixable.

What Others Have
Taken Away

Sometimes you need an external force to get you started. This session was that for me.

Product Manager

Microsoft

Learning had always been my personal, private world. This session made me realise it doesn't have to be.

Entrepreneur

I walked away being more deliberate about my learning rather than just letting it happen

Senior Product Designer

PhonePe

I came in with things on my mind. I left with clear goals and a nudge to actually act on them.

User Researcher

Google

It helped me think about what my priorities are, and who my partners on this journey could be.

"Learning is one of the most innately human things we do. Yet somewhere along the way, most of us stopped thinking of ourselves as learners. That contradiction is what I find endlessly interesting."
